Mmmmmm, brioche!

Mom and I made a delicious brioche with a few twists and turns. I made the "twists and turns" because I wanted to invent a food that was creamy and orange. I wanted to invent because I like to make stuff. It all started with a search, a simple search. A simple search of creamy and orange. Mom and I found Cooks Illustrated.com. We copied the recipe to a Word document and tweaked it. I turned all the milks to cream and added orange zest to the dough.

In the kitchen Mom and I made the dough and put it in the refrigerator for 12 hours because I had to go to bed. The next day after school Mom and I made the cream cheese filling flavored with sugar and orange zest. Mom rolled the dough thickish flat and we both spread on the filling. Then Mom rolled it up, formed the dough into a ring and baked it.

When it was done we made the icing out of cream and sugar. Then we stirred it together. And at last we poured it on and ate it and it was... delicious brioche!
